Kristi and Jake were married at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Sheraton in down town Raleigh.

Formal photo shoots are fun to film. I genreally add them as a chapter to the traditional video package.

Love stories add significance and narrative to the traditional wedding DVD. I recently began the transition to DSLR videography. I filmed this footage with my Canon 5D. We shot all of the footage at Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina. The audio was recorded with wireless microphones.

Kimberly & Shawn

Kimberly and Shawn were married at the Barclay in Angier, North Carolina. The Barclay is a beautiful venue for weddings. One of its best features is the grand staircase. I have filmed weddings there before, but I have never experienced what I did that night as I filmed Kimberly and Shawn’s wedding ceremony. It was December and the Barclay was decorated with Christmas lights and ornaments. The ceremony began as bagpipes rang out a Scottish melody. Kimberly made here way to the head of the staircase, the wedding guests hushed in awe, I began to zoom in tight on the bride, and then it happened. Kimberly fell as she began her elegant decent. Everyone froze in terror. The bagpipes halted, I kept filming hoping she was not injured. Then she brought relief to everyone as she began to laugh hysterically. Shawn rushed up to save her and escorted her down the flight of candle light stairs.
